Our 2009 Back to School Bash is fast approaching. We are asking for everyone's participation to make this a huge success.

With the increasing economic pressures placed upon everyone this year, we feel even more compelled to reach out to help meet some of the financial needs of the community. We are again giving away 225 back packs filled with school supplies . We have already purchased the back packs, but we are asking YOU to commit to providing the school supplies to fill them. Please sign up with your commitment to fill one or more back packs. A list of required school supplies will be provided. The estimated cost for the supplies to fill one back pack is $20.00. If you prefer to provide a $20.00 per back pack donation, we will be happy to obtain the supplies and fill the back pack (s) for you.
The back packs will be distributed to the community children during a power-packed, fun filled afternoon at which time families can come to play games, receive prizes, free food, and enjoy an afternoon of love and fellowship. Our church parking lot will be transformed into an exciting carnival. The date for the Bash is Saturday, August 2, from 3:00- 5:00 pm.
We also need volunteers to help in the game booths, food preparation and serving, and help with setup and tear down.
